Augusta Lartey -Young is an award-winning language teacher. She was adjudged the 2nd best teacher for the Best Teacher Prize In 2018. Augusta teaches both English and French. She holds a BA in English & French, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Masters in Education Administration, all from the University of Cape Coast. She has also taken the Teaching Excellence and Achievement program from the California State University in the USA. Augusta has over 16 years of teaching experience. She was the Head of the Languages department of the Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School, Legon. She has participated in several conferences. She is a counselor, a trainer, and lectures at the UCC Distance program. She is proficient in report writing and presentation. As her philosophy, Augusta believes learners have different abilities hence differentiation in teaching methodology and assessment is key to the success of the learning process.
